1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all subscriptions and services purchased from BetaXLab LLP ("we," "our," or "us") through our website www.betaxlab.com.
We offer cloud-based SaaS services including WhatsApp automation, CRM integrations, AI chatbot development, and business messaging solutions. Because our Services are delivered digitally and resources are allocated upon subscription, our refund policy reflects the nature of SaaS businesses operating in India.
By subscribing to any of our plans, you agree to the terms of this Policy. Please read it carefully before making a purchase.
2. Subscription Plans & Billing
- Our Services are offered on monthly and annual subscription plans as listed on our pricing page
- All subscription fees are billed in advance at the start of each billing cycle
- Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date
- You will receive a renewal reminder email at least 3 days before your subscription renews
3. Free Trial
Where a free trial is offered, no payment is required during the trial period. At the end of the trial:
- Your account will not be automatically charged unless you explicitly choose a paid plan and provide payment details
- Features may be restricted or the account may be paused after the trial period ends without a paid subscription
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time by:
- Logging into your BetaXLab account and cancelling from your billing dashboard
- Sending a cancellation request to info@betaxlab.com with the subject line "Subscription Cancellation Request"
4.2 When Cancellation Takes Effect
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
- You will continue to have full access to the Services until the end of the paid period — no access is cut off immediately upon cancellation
- After the billing cycle ends, your account will be downgraded or deactivated and no further charges will be made
4.3 Cancellation Deadline
To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date.
5. Refund Policy
5.1 Monthly Plans — No Refund
Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel a monthly plan, you will not receive a refund for the current billing period. Your access continues until the end of the paid month.
5.2 Annual Plans — Partial Refund Eligibility
For annual subscriptions, a refund may be considered under the following conditions:
- Within 7 days of purchase or renewal: You may request a pro-rated refund for the unused months remaining in your annual subscription, at our sole discretion
- After 7 days: Annual subscription fees are non-refundable. You may cancel to prevent future renewals but no refund will be issued for the remaining period
5.3 Setup & Onboarding Fees
One-time setup fees, onboarding fees, and professional service charges are non-refundable once the work has commenced.
5.4 Add-ons & Credits
Purchased add-ons (e.g., extra message credits, additional user seats) are non-refundable once activated. Unused credits do not carry over after account termination.
5.5 Exceptions — Service Failure by BetaXLab
If our platform experiences a verified and significant service outage or failure directly caused by BetaXLab that renders the Service unusable for an extended period, we may, at our discretion, offer:
- A pro-rated credit for the affected period applied to your next billing cycle, or
- A partial refund proportional to the downtime, upon written request
Outages caused by Meta/WhatsApp infrastructure, third-party services, internet providers, or force majeure events do not qualify for refunds.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- Account suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service or WhatsApp Business Policy
- Your WhatsApp Business Account being restricted, banned, or limited by Meta Platforms for policy violations
- Failure to use the Services during the subscription period — non-usage does not constitute grounds for a refund
- Dissatisfaction with features that were accurately described on our website at the time of purchase
- Requests made after the eligible refund window has passed
- Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us — unauthorized chargebacks may result in permanent account suspension
7. How to Request a Refund
To submit a refund request:
- Email us at info@betaxlab.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your registered email address, subscription plan, date of purchase, and reason for the refund request
- We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days
- Eligible refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days and credited back to the original payment method
Refund requests must be submitted within the eligible window as described in Section 5. Requests outside this window will not be considered.
8. Plan Downgrades & Upgrades
- Upgrades: You may upgrade your plan at any time. The difference in cost will be charged on a pro-rated basis for the remaining billing period
- Downgrades: You may downgrade your plan at any time. The downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No refund is issued for the difference in the current period
9. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us at info@betaxlab.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We will investigate and resolve legitimate billing errors promptly.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us is considered a breach of this Policy and may result in immediate suspension of your account and recovery of any disputed amounts through legal means.
10. Governing Law
This Refund & Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be subject to the dispute resolution process outlined in our Terms of Service.
